About the Association

KURTA — continuing an association that began at KU

The Kakatiya University Retired Teachers Association (KURTA) provides a forum for retired teachers of Kakatiya University to remain connected with one another and with the University.

Retirement marks the end of regular service, but not the end of one's relationship with the institution, colleagues, students and the wider academic community. KURTA seeks to preserve that continuing relationship.

The Association also seeks to place the experience and collective voice of its members at the service of higher education and the development of Kakatiya University.

Our continuing purpose

To stay connected, preserve institutional memory, support the University and provide a space for retired teachers to share their experience and reflections.
